Nordic footwear company ARKK Copenhagen is throwing its hat into the sock-shoe ring with the Octako FG W13.
The ARKK Copenhagen Octako is constructed with a custom 3D-knit FutureGrid upper and the bold Wave13 sole unit used on the recently released ARKK Apextron. Like the Apextron, which was a response to the recent “dad shoe” trend in the footwear industry, the Octako is ARKK’s response to the sock-shoe trend that has permeated footwear for the last two years.
The Octako sports a triple knitted bootie-style upper with technical detailing like the elastic strand that runs around the ankle. The heel features a silicon molded back piece that gets subtle branding and a pull tab for easy on and off.
The ARKK Copenhagen Octako, which is part of the brand’s Superior Line, will debut in two colorways (Black/Luminous Green and Silver Gray/Light Rust) in the coming days. It will retail for $185 USD and be available in men’s and women’s sizes like all of ARKK’s footwear. We’ll update you when the shoes are live.
