Nordic sneaker company ARKK Copenhagen is releasing its futuristic sock-like hightop sneaker, the Octako, this Friday.
The Octako FG W13 is an all-new silhouette for ARKK; it flaunts a custom 3D-knit FutureGrid upper and the minimal Wave13 sole unit used on the recently released ARKK Apextron. The W13 unit is wide-footer friendly and gets bold lines inspired by the Den Blå Planet Aquarium in Denmark. The Octako is ARKK’s response to the sock-shoe trend that has dominated footwear for the last couple years.
The ARKK Copenhagen Octako sports a hightop triple knitted bootie-style upper with technical detailing like the elastic strand that runs around the ankle. The heel features a silicon molded back piece that gets subtle branding and a pull tab for easy on and off.
The ARKK Copenhagen Octako releases tomorrow, September 7, for $185 USD (165€) in two colorways: Black/Luminous Green and Silver Gray/Light Rust. You can pick up your pair at us.arkkcopenhagen.com.
