In early-September, Nordic sneaker brand ARKK Copenhagen unveiled the Chrontech, a weather-resistant sneakerboot designed for the coming winter months.
The all-weather Chrontech Mesh HS W-13 uses ARKK’s patented Hydrix Shield membrane to keep the wearer’s feet dry. The Hydrix Shield membrane combines innovative and all-weather technology to keep the Chrontech breathable and warm with 400 grams of insulation. The shield also makes the shoe wind and water-repellent (and the added hightop collar height should also help).
The ARKK Copenhagen Chrontech rides atop the brand’s minimal and blacked-out Wave13 sole unit debuted on the recently released ARKK Apextron. The W13 unit is wide-footer friendly and gets bold lines inspired by the Den Blå Planet Aquarium in Denmark. The Chrontech is tied together with rope laces, secured by a lace lock, and rope eyelets heat-welded to the mesh upper.
The ARKK Copenhagen Chrontech Mesh HS W13 has released for $185 in both men’s and women’s sizing at us.arkkcopenhagen.com. Let us know if you’re eyeing this sneakerboot in the comments below.
