Scotland’s first sneaker brand, Arc Originals, is poised to release its third sneaker in the Outset series.
After two successful Arc Originals The Outset releases that sold out quickly, the brand is shifting its focus away from telling stories about its Scottish homeland. The new Outset ‘000C’ is a “back to basics” triple white sneaker with gum soles that exudes a supremely classic look.
“We wanted our own version of a classic colorway,” Arc Originals Founder Austin Yule told WearTesters. “With our last two releases featuring more vibrant colours we wanted to strip it all back and do something that could be worn all year round by anyone.”
For its latest sneaker, Arc Originals has drawn inspiration from the universally recognized Pantone palette; “000C” is Pantone’s code for White so the shoe is equipped with a pearly white upper of knitted mesh and premium full-grain leather. Flat wax laces tie the shoe together and offer good contrast for the gum bottoms.
The Arc Originals The Outset ‘000C’ will retail for £110 (approx. $140 USD) and release in limited numbers on September 7. Be ready at 10 AM BST at arcoriginals.com if you’re trying to cop.

I own the first Outset colorway. Missed out on the Tea Rooms. Love what Arc Originals has been doing. Can’t wait to see what they come up with post Outset.
