Marvel’s Black Panther is more than just a film — it’s a cultural phenomenon that has been spurred on by collaborative products like toys, apparel, and sneakers. Now, yet another sneaker brand has collaborated with Black Panther to create two new sneakers: the Anta KT3 ‘Black Panther’ and KT3 Low ‘Black Panther’.
After working on a stunning collaborative project with Puma and BAIT, Marvel linked with one of China’s biggest sneaker brands to bless Klay Thompson with a couple unique signatures.
The two-part pack includes the first KT3 Low colorway to hit the market; it shares the same textured upper as the KT3 ‘Black Panther’ but uses an internal bootie for the lowtop build. “Black Panther” and “Klay Thompson” are featured on the heel pull tabs while the heels flaunt the BP and KT logos. Silver accents are used all over the sneaker to echo the superhero’s Vibranium suit.
The KT3 ‘Black Panther’ flaunts a few more Black Panther tributes like the “Property of Wakanda” stitching behind the removable shroud, the iridescent tribal graphics on the midsole, and the striking claw marks at the heel. Small Vibranium patches hit the ankles while silver accents honor T’Challa’s suit.
The Anta KT3 ‘Black Panther’ retailed for $165 at Famuji Sneaker but it has sold out. However, the KT3 Low ‘Black Panther’ is still available for $150 in select sizes. The shoes are also available in select sizes at HiBasketballShoes.
