Ahead of their time might be a mild understatement when it comes to the upcoming Nike Hyperdunk 2015.
Just from a visual standpoint… these look really weird. Unlike anything I’ve ever seen… which includes the Kobe 9 which was pretty weird when they were first unveiled. At this time, all we really know about the Hyperdunk 2015 is that they’ll have full length Zoom Air and Dynamic Flywire. I’m curious as to what the upper is. Looks like there are areas of Fuse, but with a collar that high the upper will need to be decently flexible. And that midsole… just a weird looking shoe. Should be interesting to see them on-court and in action when the ’15/’16 NBA Season begins.

the upper almost looks like it could be some sort of woven material based on the grey pair with some fuse overlays for where more structure and support is needed

If the Kobe 9 Elite and Roshe Run had a baby. Not too appealing from a cosmatic standpoint in my opinion. But hey, full length Zoom, can’t go wrong with that.
This is by far the worst hyperdunk just by looking at it. This is what happens when major designers leave nike lmao. All they’re left with is the shitty designers. I could honestly design a better looking hdunk lmao.

Maybe they intened to make another/ “elite model” with a Flyknit upper. Somehow makes sense because of the collar height? Haha!
Imo it looks like a beast. Couple questions though is what is the midsole foam and will these be stable as it looks like there is no outrigger. Hope these have those heel notches though that increases comfort by a mile.
Not bad from the lateral side, but my goodness, that heel cup view has me thinking they’re using marshmellowlon in the heel. Straight hideous.
These look like they are also made to go off court. My main concern is the fact that this might be like the D Lillard 1 where they catered too casually and didn’t perform well. These will be a real neck breaker though as they look like a nike sky high…..which is a wedge though I do like the prints. What are your thoughts Nightwing?
Full length zoom is great but that midsole is thick and if it is a hard phylon it would be a waste of the full length zoom and if it is bottom loaded it would not matter at all

Hopefully the upper is more comfortable than the 2014. Looks aside, they really need to improve the comforbility of this shoe for $140 a pop. Cheap plastic uppers that pinch and bind are not getting the job done when you can grab shoes with woven or leather uppers for the same price.
