An Official Look at the Air Jordan 6 Retro OG Black/Infrared

Official images of the upcoming Air Jordan 6 Retro OG ‘Back/Infrared’ have emerged.

While we just had our best look yet at the upcoming re-release of the ‘Black/Infrared’ Air Jordan 6, an official look never hurt.

This set of images really shows the beauty of the shoe in all its glory but until we have a pair in-hand, we’ll be slightly skeptical on how they turned out. Will they just be a Nike Air branded version of the 2014 Retro or will they truly be the closest thing to the 1991 original Air Jordan 6 that we’ve had thus far? These are questions we’d like to know, but the majority likely doesn’t care.

If you plan on grabbing the 2019 version of the Air Jordan 6 Retro OG in ‘Black/Infrared’ then mark your calendars for February 16 and make sure you have $200 ready and waiting.

  1. Luv what I’m seeing folks! Its not the OG Leather on the upper but we all know Nike just cant afford the quality materials like they had in the past lol. Looks like we got a different contrast of the Leather on the back heel panel just like the OG, so that’s cool. Its not as shiny smooth as the OG but closer to the 2000 retro version. Color of Red seems to be on point as well as shape, overall JB did a great job on this release….. 2 PAIRS 4me!

  2. I’m going to need to see more of how that heel/back panel piece is. Can’t tell from the pics, but it looks like the same shoe as the 2014 retro, just with Nike all over. They definitely didn’t get the tongue height right since the OG’s tongue was way higher. On the fence about these leaning towards not copping.
