Celebrating 10 years of Derrick Rose signature sneakers, an official look at the adidas D Rose 10 Year.
What many of us thought could be the adidas D Rose 10 ends up being a tribute sneaker and not Rose’s actual tenth signature shoe.
The D Rose 10 year is a bit of an amalgam of his previous signature sneakers along with the previous shoes worn by Rose as an adidas athlete.
Sporting a leather build, the D Rose 10 Year reminds me a bit of the D Rose 1.5 Retro that released earlier in 2019. A TPU SprintFrame sits atop a Bounce cushioned midsole. Herringbone and a circular pivot section are in place for traction which should perform well on-court.
However, at the rear heel tab it states “Rose 10 Yr” along with Chinese characters. Does this point to a China exclusive release? Will the U.S. see the adidas D Rose 10 Year hit retail? Will there be a D Rose 10? These are questions we’d love to know the answers to.
