An Official Look at the Air Jordan 7 Low ‘Bright Concord’

Like it or not, Jordan Brand is trying to make the Air Jordan 7 Low a thing in 2018.

There have been samples of low top Air Jordan 7s in existence for years, but 2018 seems to be the year these samples become actual releases.

While I’ve always said that the Air Jordan 7 was a lowtop, the leather wings making it a high were nothing more than thin panels of leather with nothing to them. But seeing the shoe in actual low top form looks…weird. Will these be something we see on-court at one point or another? We’ll have to wait and see.

While the original Air Jordan 7 is one of the better early models from a performance perspective, the removal of the wings atop the collar of the shoe may result in a lack of heel lockdown.

There is still no confirmed release date just yet, but with official images coming via leaker @py_rates we’re thinking the release isn’t too far out. Retail is said to be $140, surprisingly low considering Jordan Brand has been pricing its low top Retro releases at $170 for the past few years.
