Military-inspired outerwear and apparel brand Alpha Industries has once again teamed up with basketball and streetwear brand K1X for the ‘Gold Rush Pack’. The pack is tripartite: flight jacket, kicks, bag.
The entire pack is dressed in a gold look, accented with black. The ‘Gold Rush Pack’ features the first-ever engineered duffle bag ($89) in original flight nylon and it uses detachable “OFFENSE” and “DEFENSE” Velcro patches (a motif throughout the collection), embroidered stars, and the Nation of Hoop flag.
The footwear silhouette used for the collaboration is, of course, the K1X Anti Gravity (Nightwing performance reviewed the sneaker a few years back here). The gold tongues, backed by a black inner lining, feature Velcro “OFFENSE” patches (no word on whether patches that read “DEFENSE” come in the box) and the K1X crest. Embroidered stars at the heel carry the Gold Rush theme through while the upper seems to be made of nylon (or a similar synthetic). The kicks retail for $139.
Finally, the limited Alpha Industries MA-1 Flight Jacket ($159) is also done up in gold and black and features the classic red “REMOVE BEFORE FLIGHT” tab. The sleeves flaunt the Nation of Hoop flag and unique pins while the chest features the “OFFENSE” and “DEFENSE” motifs.
The Alpha Industries x K1X ‘Gold Rush Pack’ is available now at Sneakersnstuff and other EU retailers like The Good Will Out, Titolo, Kickz93, and LimitEditions. What do you think about K1X’s recent collaboration with such a famous brand? Let us know in the comments.

I like the collaboration. The K1x colorway is dope. The bag is sick.
