The previously viewed ‘Riverwalk’ Air Jordan XX9 will become available October 11th, 2014 for $225.
This pair pays homage to MJ’s 1996 All-Star Game appearance as the colors placed along the upper somewhat match their uniforms worn while in San Antonio.
Check out this up close and personal look at the upcoming model and keep in mind that these are just Samples, so the Air unit and tongue aren’t what you can expect when they hit retailers.

I live in San Antonio, so I will definitely get these.
Nice and it’ll still go with the Hornets colors.
Just when I talked myself out of dropping $225….
Why is the zoom unit split virticaly on this pair?
That’s a very good observation. I wonder if this is a sample
My fault. It is a sample. It says so up top
So nice…but $225 tho. Do they come with a 2 limited warranty?
All nike/jordan shoes have a 2 year warranty on defects so if the zoom pops… you can file a claim and send it back for a new pair OR for equivalent nike merchandise credit (which isn’t good because if they run out of XX9’s, then they can’t give a XX9). Also they decide on what they do (merchandise credit or new shoe)
Will there be an SE version? $225 is high for basketball shoes, at least for me.
The SE would most likely perform very similarly to the 28 se’s so who knows
Super.fly 3 is essentially the same shoe as the XX9, minus the Performance Woven Upper and $85.
Kawhi Leonard will probably rock these since he wore the XX8 SE last year and of course because he’s a Spur.
I’m not so sure about that. In a Spurs shoe video I watched during last season, I think they only usually wear shoes that are the team colors. In some special occasions I think they wear other color shoes, but otherwise, I think they stick with the team colors.
That’s actually a good point. Pop handles that team like a high school team. All of the players on the Spurs do wear black and white shoes. Kawhi was rocking the platinum/black/white XX8 SE.
Ginobili rocked black and white LeBron X last year, Duncan rocked black and white Crazy Quicks, and then Tony Parker has his Peak PE and sig in the same colors as well.
I was glancing through the next upcoming XX9 colorways again and I noticed that this one must still be going through changes. Check out the forefoot zoom orientation here.
