Originally scheduled to drop on Cyber Monday (November 26), the Air Jordan 5 Satin ‘Black/University Red’ will be hitting retail several weeks earlier than once thought.
In June, leakers @pinoe77 and @zsneakerheadz announced that this new Satin build of the historic Air Jordan 5 would drop for Cyber Monday. Now, official release calendars are pegging this release for November 3, nearly four weeks earlier than originally predicted.
Once thought to be a re-hash of the Supreme Air Jordan 5, this sneaker will sport a shiny satin build with University Red accents and a clean black splatter on the bright midsole. Of course, the traditional reflective tongue is in place and the shoe features its usual heel and forefoot Air units embedded within a polyurethane midsole.
The Air Jordan 5 Satin ‘Black/University Red’ releases on November 3 for $190 at Eastbay.com. It will also be stocked in boys sizes for $140.

The date was moved up to appease those that JB pissed off with the 33. Gotta throw the masses a bone. A nice looking AJ5 in a Bred colorway makes me forget about that abomination that they call the 33.
