Pinnacle status. That’s what Jordan has been bringing us lately with its luxury releases on nostalgic retros. With a Pinnacle tag behind the nameplate, it’s definitely a different light as to what Jordan Brand is focusing on.
The shoe features an updated high-end all-leather inside and outside with small metal pegs along the heel and metal lace wings. The laces utilize leather cords which a provide a premium feel. The obsidian leather upper noticeably is classically quilted like something you’d probably see from luxury brands like Chanel. While the Pinnacle shoe comes with detailed packaging that includes a shoe bag and a specialized card, the price tag that comes along with the shoe is less desirable.
The Air Jordan 4 Retro Pinnacle ‘Obsidian’ is slated to launch on September 17 with the hefty price point of $400, just like the other Pinnacle releases.
