When the Air Jordan 11 ‘Platinum Tint’ was first reported on in August it didn’t look anything like its Photoshopped renders. Now, the shoe is releasing this month and giving fans an Air Jordan 11 much sooner than the usual holiday drop.
While the Air Jordan 11 ‘Concord’ is still planned for a huge Holiday 2018 release, it will feature the number 45 at the heels, not the traditional 23. Done up in off-white Platinum Tint and Sail tones, this latest Air Jordan 11 flaunts University Red accents at the heels, heel piping, Jumpman, and tongue.
Fans that love the Air Jordan 11 but don’t love when icy outsoles yellow will be happy to know that this Jordan 11 rides atop milky outsoles with white traction pods. The carbon fiber shank can still be seen through the outsoles, as can a red Jumpman.
The shoe also features a full-length Air Sole cushioning unit embedded in a Phylon midsole. You can learn more by checking out Nightwing2303’s Air Jordan 11 Performance Review.
The Air Jordan 11 ‘Platinum Tint’ releases on October 27 for $220 at all of the usual Stateside retailers including Eastbay, Foot Locker, Finish Line, and Nike. The shoe will also be available in boy’s sizes for $170.
Will you be adding this Air Jordan 11 to your collection? Let us know.

Noah and Nightwing, Is the cushioning in the recent Jordan XI retros comparable to the original, or did Nike screw us with dime-sized Zoom Air bags?
Please let me know!
Phil
The Air Jordan 11 has always used a full-length Air Sole unit
Ok gotcha. Do you like the cushioning setup? If so, it’s only the outrageous price tag holding me back!
I’ve never owned an Air Jordan 11, it has always been the high price tag that stopped me. Plus, I think the shoe is classic and iconic and great and all of those things but it’s just kinda meh to me
Hearing you. I want my next pair to be very low to the ground. I thought the Kobe 360s would be perfect but Nightwing’s comments about the lack of traction durability stopped me from buying them. Any other suggestions for shows with a low stack height and minimal heel to toe drop?
How much are you trying to spend? What’s the budget
XIs have never had zoom.
Thanks for the heads up.
Noah, up to $150. Would have also copped the Brandblack Rare Metal on sale recently but again, Nightwing and other reviewers had traction issues. What else would you recommend? (or should I just wait for the Kobe IV Protro?)
The LeBron 16 and Kobe 1 Protro are undoubtedly two of 2018’s best performers. I’d look for them on sale/with discounts. I’m sure you can find one of the two for $150.
Ok thank you mate. Much appreciated.
Thank you for the support!
