A familiar colorway gets the re-retro treatment with the 2015 release of the Air Jordan 11 Low Retro ‘Citrus’.
The sneaker previously released in 2001 in women’s sizes. Since Jordan Brand stopped making women’s exclusive sizing of colorways in the mid 2000s, the upcoming 2015 release will come in grade school sizes. Because of this, the general shape will be different and there will be fewer eyelets, as well as a lack of carbon fiber. Instead, the shank plate will just be made of a plastic material. In comparison, the Citrus color is quite a bit brighter than on the 2001 version, which is exemplified by less translucence on the outsole.
The Air Jordan 11 Low Retro ‘Citrus’ will release on Saturday, June 20 for a retail price of $120. Sizing will range up to 9.5 in grade school sizes, which is equivalent to men’s sizing. Let us know what you think of the sneaker in the comments below.
