Back in ’96 the Air Jordan 11 came out in a low top with an altered upper that was dubbed the IE Low. Not many colorways were made originally–only two hit retail–but there was a third colorway that never made it to retail and instead was intended to be seen on the feet of the NBA referees calling the game. Perhaps that’s why MJ was always on their good side.
Joking aside, these were once one of the rarer PE versions of MJ’s signatures throughout the years. Only place I’ve seen them, besides in a magazine, was on eBay a while back. Chris Paul wore a pair at yesterday’s USA mini camp in Vegas which makes us wonder if Jordan Brand has plans on unleashing the pair to the public sooner or later. While nothing has been officially announced by Jordan Brand, they have been running low on OG colorways to re-re-release so they’ve been digging in their archives for stories to tell. This would be a really good one if you ask me.

I wish I had more hands so I could give these four thumbs down
What does IE stand for? I was told AE means Artisan Edition…
Slade said it was “International Edition”.
These are nice.
they just butchered the J11’s. even the Futures looked better than these.
These were an OG unreleased colorway. Can’t butcher something when it was done originally.
