adidas’ next lifestyle model looks very familiar…
Right now adidas is the hottest sportswear brand out and there’s no two ways about it — just take a look at the brand’s Q2 2017 fiscal results. Boost has had a huge impact on the lifestyle market but before Boost became a thing adidas had models like the ZX Flux and Tubular to run things off the court.
Now it looks adidas is bringing back the Tubular with Primeknit and with a very similar look to the 2016 version of the Crazy Explosive. The lacing system, upper, and collar area are all reminiscent of the basketball silhouette but the design of the heel, midsole and outsole take a different approach.
A release date for the adidas Tubular X 2.0 Primeknit has not been announced but we’d expect these to hit retail shelves sometime this fall.
