adidas Tour360 24 Performance Review

adidas Tour360 24

In May 2024, Xander Schauffele made history by shooting an aggregate score of 263 (21 under par). Not only did he win the PGA Championship, but he broke the record for the lowest aggregate score in a major championship.

Xander’s shoe of choice for the PGA Championship at Valhalla Golf Club?

The adidas Tour360 24.

We get 4 “Major” golf tournaments per year. For the newer golfers reading this, a normal tournament win is impressive but a major tournament win is a whole different level.

With only 4 major tournaments per year, that means we get a maximum of 4 major winning golf shoes. If you decide that the adidas Tour360 24 is right for you, you’ll be wearing a small piece of golf history.

Putting my major winning bias aside, the adidas Tour360 24 performed extremely well. I haven’t always been a huge adidas fan, but the adidas Tour360 24 tilted the scale very heavily in their favor.

Let’s dive into it!

Sizing: True to size

adidas Tour360 24 fit

Fit

The adidas Tour360 24 is true to size.

I never experienced slippage or tightness. The fit was solid which gave me more room to focus on my swing and my golf game.

If fit is an important factor to you, the adidas Tour360 24 will be perfect.

I wear an 11.5 and the Tour360’s 11.5 was perfect for me.

Traction

The traction control is top notch.

The adidas Tour360 24 features seven spikes on the bottom of the shoe. Additionally, we see some extra texture on the bottom of the shoe to supplement the spikes.

I wore the adidas Tour360 24 on a rainy day and they felt good. When the course gets wet, you risk losing traction. If you’re off balance or slipping during your golf swing, the result is a lot of bad shots. The adidas Tour360 24 served me well in the rain and mud.

You also get additional traction in the bunker, which is often pivotal during a round. My performance out of bunkers was improved in the adidas Tour360 24.

adidas Tour360 24 cushion

Cushion

The trend with the Adidas Tour360 24 is high performance in every category. The cushion segment is no exception.

Every step had maximum absorption which led to no foot or ankle pain while wearing the Adidas Tour360 24.

The Tour360 24 uses Lightstrike cushioning. This type of cushioning can be found in adidas basketball and running shoes. This is a high performing foam midsole that helps with absorption and cushion. And this isn’t just adidas marketing having a field day. Lightstrike made a big difference when added to the adidas Tour360 24.

The solid cushion helped keep my feet fresh and ready for every shot on the course.

adidas Tour360 24 suppport

Support

If you have ankles and feet that are sensitive to lots of golf, this shoe will work great for you. The adidas Tour360 24 is trusted by a LOT of PGA Tour Players and can work for amateurs too.

The course I usually play has a decent amount of hills to climb throughout the round, and I didn’t notice any pain in my feet or ankles while playing in the adidas Tour360 24.

The support was especially good on rougher terrain. The adidas Tour360 24 felt normal on typical course terrain and I’d give it an A+ in terms of performance on rougher terrain

Price

At $200, the adidas Tour360 24 is an affordable tour level shoe.

If you’re a competitive and extremely competent golfer, the adidas Tour360 24 is perfect for you.

If you’re above a 20 handicap, I’d go check out some of adidas’ other shoes such as the adidas S2G Spikeless Leather 24

You can definitely save some money by choosing a different adidas golf shoe, but this is the shoe for anyone that’s a low handicap golfer. Based on performance on the course, $200 is a fitting price point.

The Wrap on the adidas Tour360 24

The adidas Tour360 24 is the real deal.

I’m not a scratch golfer, (YET) but the adidas Tour360 24 helped me perform well on the golf course. For me, golf is all about confidence. Wearing the adidas Tour360 24 gave me unmatched confidence. When you don’t have to worry about your shoes and how they feel on your feet, you play better.

The adidas Tour360 24 tackles foot and ankle pain with ease. The fit and cushion created a perfect combo that left my feet feeling less sore after my round. This was a big selling point for me personally because I get achy feet while playing sports.

When you add in the traction performance, it’s a recipe for one of the best adidas tour level shoes of all time.

I would say I’m on the higher-handicap side of who should be playing in the adidas Tour360 24, but they kept my game at the level it was at and possibly even improved my scores.

If you like wearing what the pros wear, the adidas Tour360 24 is a great choice.

I personally love wearing what the pros wear and I felt pretty cool wearing the same shoe that Xander Schauffele wore while winning in record fashion at Valhalla Golf Club in Kentucky.

I scored the adidas Tour360 24 a 10/10. Everything from fit to price was spot on.

The only downside was them being harder to clean, but if that’s the only downside that you notice with a golf shoe, it’s a pretty darn good golf shoe. You’ll notice a small opening on the bottom of the shoe that allows for mud and debris to get in. This is the main area that’s hard to clean.

You’ll be happy with how these feel on your feet which will lead to more comfort making it easier to continually shoot better scores on the course. Let’s hope adidas Golf continues this winning trend.
