The original model featured a polarizing look when it debuted on Kobe Bryant’s feet back in 2000. Seventeen years later, adidas has returned with a refreshed lifestyle take on the memorable silhouette.
This time around, adidas has fitted the model with a Primeknit upper for what the company is calling an “adaptive feel.” Notable additions include gold lace tips, a premium nubuck heel counter, and a semi-translucent herringbone patterned outsole. The shoe uses a PU midsole for cushioning.
The adidas Originals Crazy 1 ADV Primeknit drops at adidas.com tomorrow for $160.

can this be worn on court or is it a lifestyle model?
It’s a lifestyle model
Ha that won’t stop me
I feel guilty but I’ve been asking adidas to retro some of their 90s sneakers but update them in modern material.. now that they have this is going to be a pass. I love the Crazy 1 but it creases to easy for casual wear which made them look ugly. Primeknit is great but PK on the Crazy 1 will lose the 90s brick look and feel. They should have put bounce on the cushion or encapsulated boost. Maybe the Stormtrooper CW may look better and a price tag of $80.
These look pretty cool. The bottom looks similar to Brandblack JC line.
Very nice transformation indeed!
