July 13 should be renamed “New adidas Originals Colorway Drop” day due to the amount of new builds dropping for various adidas sneakers like the NMD_R2 and NMD_CS2.
This time around, the adidas Originals NMD_CS2 gets a makeover in a women’s exclusive colorway.
Similar to the upcoming ‘Glitch’ colorway, this NMD_CS2 features a predominantly white and black Primeknit, single-panel upper which is meant to wrap around the foot. The seemingly embroidered black stripes at the “tongue” and medial side are there to provide comfort and support. There are also six hits of pink in the inner and outer sock lining to provide some color in the otherwise monochromatic colorway.
All of that sits atop a white Boost midsole (#boostislife), and a semi-translucent yellow outsole. Finally, there is a pink EVA insert on the medial side of the sneaker to give some pop on the tooling.
The new colorway is set to drop on July 13, along with the rest of the adidas Originals drops that day, for $180 at adidas.com and select adidas retailers.
