The adidas I-5923 Sheds its Boost and Becomes the N-5923 in New Street Pack

adidas N-5923 1

Formerly the Iniki Runner/Iniki Boost, the adidas I-5923 has undergone changes once again. Now the adidas I-5923, the shoe mixes modern and old school tech.

The adidas N-5923 showcases what the brand is calling “modern-retro design.” The new build features a breathable textile upper with welded mesh panels at the toebox and ditches the usual suede for a molded TPU heel cage.

The N-5923 also sheds its Boost midsole for a classic rubber midsole on a contrast outsole. The shoe is tied together with a traditional lacing system and flaunts serated three stripes branding.

The adidas N-5923 will debut in four classic colorways on March 26 for $90 each.

If you’re missing the Boost from the adidas I-5923, a handsome new red/white colorway has arrived at Eastbay.com for $120.

  1. I think these might reasonably be expected to match up with the Roshes pretty well. They’re not “Roshe-killers”, even though people will anoint them as such, but they will definitely compete with them.

  2. Yeah these ain’t shit without the boost… I had I5923s and gatt damn those were the most comfy shoes I’ve ever had for like $40 at Ross

  3. The breathability kills the class that accompanies the retro touches. I’d rather my feet sweat than wear non-nmd nmds. Beauty is pain.
