adidas Howard 4 ‘World Tour’

The adidas Howard 4 in the World Tour colorway – looks like Superman to me – has been spotted overseas.

Not sure when these will touch down in the U.S. but when they do, larger players that wish to have freedom and range of motion without sacrificing too much cushion will be pleased. From a visual perspective, these look slightly thicker than the Crazyquick & Rose 773 II but will still retain their PureMotion flexibility.

Take a look at the images below and you can check out Zalando if you’d like to get a pair.

  1. looks like they’ve implemented an adaptive fit of some sort. is this new to an adidas shoe nightwing? or has it been seen before?

    1. Spinna, the 3-Stripes originally were an adaptive fit setup, way back in the 50s(it’s why back then all brands had straps, and stipes on the side of their shoes to create a more customizable fit), this setup was inspired by the KB8 II though(from 1998).

  2. Nice One. The zalando dealer also offers the li ning way of wade in different color ways.. At least in Germany they do. If someone is interested…

  3. are you going to review these nightwing and do you think there will be a major difference in the cushion when compared to the crazy quick and the 773 II?

  4. this is like a drose 3.5 meets crazyquick, and then let’s throw a dh logo on the tongue haha. i wish they would do dwight some justice (coming from a houston rockets fan)

  5. They keep on recylcing that midsol/outsole thing its amazing but damn almost every shoe has it from howards to roses.

    1. not recycling per se.. but you got to understand, Puremotion is a tooling tech so if a couple of shoes uses it, chances are at first glance they will all look alike.

if you know/remember the first generation puremotion (’09-’11), aesthetically, there is not a bunch of options tuning the way it looks.. performance wise however.. thats a different story..
