Knit is taking over. It was only a matter of time before we would see Primeknit hit the turf, and today, adidas Football officially gives us a look at the adizero Primeknit.
Coming in at a mere 8.6 oz., the adizero Primeknit utilizes a one-piece booty construction and a Primeknit upper that is reinforced in areas like the toecap with TPU layer.
To aide with stopping on a dime, making cuts, and additional support, adidas has placed a speed-spat seam tape in an X-band design across the upper. The usual SprintFrame is underfoot with SprintStuds placed in a rotational traction design for multi-directional coverage.
A speed of light design is woven into the Primeknit upper to showcase movement and speed. Logos — adidas’ three stripes are placed on the lateral side of the toebox, the adidas Sports logo is on the medial side of the shoe over the arch, and a new adizero logo is placed on the heel pull tab of the cleats.
The adidas adizero Primeknit will be available on November 24 for a retail price of $150 at Eastbay.com. Be sure to leave your thoughts below in the comments.
