A reputable leaker has flaunted the upcoming adidas Energy Boost 4 — although it isn’t called the 4.
While the shoe pictured here retains a similar aesthetic to the Energy Boost 3 that preceded it, the shoe’s tech has been significantly changed.
The TechFit upper of the EB3 has seemingly been swapped for a perforated mesh with fused reinforcements. The bands that cinched the heel and midfoot have also been removed in favor of a more traditional heel counter and midfoot cage.
The Boost is still full-length, the shoe sits atop a StretchWeb Continental outsole, and the new Energy Boost should still be the lightweight neutral its predecessor was.
Save for the colorway, what do you think of the new build? Let us know.

It seems more structured than the previous versions.
Same exact shoe as the Supernova Boost, which I run in. Not sure the purpose for this one..
