The summer rolls on and the adidas D Lillard 1 continues its strong offseason with more colorways of Damien Lillard’s first signature sneaker. Coming off the release of its first lifestyle and off-court rendition of the D Lillard 1, adidas has changed things up once again to bring snakeskin onto one of their signature sneakers. The adidas D Lillard “Black Smoke” includes a smoky outsole and a black synthetic upper to give the shoe some texture. A strong yet simple release for the three stripes.

The heelpad where “sprintframe” is written on the outsole is kinda thin when i removed the insole on the lillards. How do you think is the durability of the cushion?
The heel cushioning is actually the most durable cushioning ever, since it’s dead-air cushioning, it’s open though(so no bells, or whistles).
It’s just a synthetic overlay to make sure there’s no hole in the sole, the cushioning happens when you crash, that air gets caught in that hole(of midsole cut-out), providing impact cushioning, and the EVA rim will create a ‘trampoline’ effect of rocking in(allowing your heel sink in a little), and out, to get you back into transition/movement.
It’s super simple, but also really effective form of heel-cushioning.

Nice heads up on ross o really wanted this shoe as a casual and ball shoe I normally always get some UA from Marshalls or is I’ve gotten kb 8 and rose 1 from Marshalls those days seem to have passed. Will check ross though thank you
the shoe is a good looking snake skin aggressive looking buy stealthy and simplistic all the same
I like the quality of the skin much better here than those rose 5s, which I certainly thought id see the less popular cw of the wall and rose this summer..
