adidas Crazy Light Boost 2015 – Upcoming Colorways

We had a brief preview of the upcoming adidas Crazy Light Boost 2015 during All-Star weekend, but here are some colorways you can expect to see on the shoe come their release.

PrimeKnit makes it’s way to a basketball shoe for the first time while Boost is featured in the heel. adPrene+ is utilized in the forefoot along with an EVA midsole. a multi-directional traction pattern is used for optimal traction along with a PU insole for additional comfort.

You can expect to see the adidas Crazy Light Boost 2015 to become available beginning in August with a retail price of $130, $10 less than the original Crazy Light Boost’s retail price.

  1. “Sigh” Adidas sure is really creative with their designs smh this looks just like Lillards sneaker. This should be a good performer tho

  2. Nightwing2303, are these the same as what Jeff Teague wore on the allstar game? just different material on the upper and different colorway as well?

  3. Boost heel and adPrene+ forefoot should be interesting. Wonder how this compare to Nike’s Max heel and zoom forefoot setup. Not sure about the rubber compound, but looking at the pattern, hopefully the traction can last a while outdoor.

  4. I’m so hoping the colorways will be subtle(more subtle than this), because the time for insane colorways should be done(at least, to me it should).

  5. The Crazy Light Boost seems it will be a solid basketball shoe. In my opinion, what kills the looks of the crazy light is the big logo on the heel. It would have been nice imo if adidas stuck with the 3 stripes going down like they did with drose 3, but that is just me. Can’t wait for this to release and nightwing2303 to review this.

    1. i kinda like the adidas logo..makes it more destinguish from other basketball shoes and even other adidas shoes..

  6. PRIMEKNIT!!! Hopefully Adidas doesn’t mess up the softness and ventilation like what Nike did with the Kobe 9 Elite and its Fuse/glue-backed Flyknit.

  7. The adiprene+ in the forefoot should be pretty good for responsiveness, but why not just do a segmented Boost version like the Revenge Boost or Response Boost? They could have also used the mesh with the Shockweb overlays and the segmented boost and keep it at 130-140. Still, looks like it’ll perform better than the Crazy Light Boost 2014 though.

  8. These look like they have promise. It looks like Adias fixed the cl4’s problems. The rose 6 should have some big time boost in the forefoot. I can’t wait for the performance review on these. I’m guess that Jeremy lin will have some PE colorways of these.

  9. I really like the “Beethoven” clone colorway and I have a feeling the red one will look good in person also. I bought the 2014 model when they went on a crazy sale. While they did improve after wearing (at least the StableFrame became less painful once broken in) but the forefoot “cushion” is still terrible. I barely like wearing them casually. I can’t imagine trying to play ball in them. I honestly dont know how all of those NBA players did it night in and night out. Young legs I guess. Hopefully the Adiprene+ will be a huge improvement on this years model.

Also major props to Adidas for lowering the price. While last years model was grossly overpriced its nice to see a company acknowledge their pricepoint was wrong. They did this with the Rose line a couple years ago as well. So thank you Adidas for not being completely greedy and drunk on power (I’m looking at you Nike and Mr. Jordan).

  10. @Nightwing Does the blue CW have a different traction pattern than the others? It looks like an outdoor type traction on the blue one.
