Fans of adidas’ second main cushioning system, Bounce, may be happy to know that the recently released Crazy Explosive 2017 has been spotted with new tooling…
adidas has been converting its signature and flagship silhouettes to budget models for overseas models — just look at the Harden BTE. With that budget-friendly approach comes a change in technology.
As you can see in the photos here, this new Crazy Explosive build features a bit more fuse and an upper that is not Forged Primeknit. The collar design is only slightly altered and the shoe rides atop a two-toned Bounce set up — a welcome addition for those that prefer Bounce to Boost.
There is no word yet on when or if this model will come Stateside but keep your eyes open at overseas retailers. Would you consider this Crazy Explosive build over the Boost-equipped model?
UPDATE 8/21/17: This shoe, officially named the adidas Explosive Bounce, is available now in the Philippines and Indonesia as well as adidas.com for $100. It features a mesh upper with a textile lining and a non-marking solid ribber outsole. Shouts to our commenters overseas for the assist!

I was arguing just last night with Nate Jones (he works with Dame Lillard) on Twitter that there’s no way that Boost would be phased out in favor of Bounce technology in basketball shoes, as he stated, and now this shows up… smh lol
It has been released here in Indonesia, available at both adidas official outlets and online store.. it’s called the Explosive Bounce..
I think those are the Crazy Bounce. Adidas has them on their website.
Yeah, I saw them on the Adidas US site a few weeks ago. Adidas Crazy Bounce for $100.
YOOOO where can I find those Rose 7 lows?!?! 38 fire emojis!
