Hey guys, this or the crazy 8? I love this cw, but my eyes are on the crazy 8. Im now confused 🙂
The Crazy 8 is mostly mentioned as one of their best performers of the retro models, so I would go with that over these.
I really like almost all of these Adidas retro model performance shoes. The Crazy 8s and these are on my list. Already getting a pair of Top Ten 2000s and Real Deals, so will have to try and get the Crazy 8s + these are some point.
What colorway would you be looking at with the Crazy 8s? I only really like a couple of the colorways with those. Black and White being one of them.

I want to have a pair for outdoor use from the four adidas retroes youve mentioned, though my budget is only for one pair. Main reasons why im considering the Crazy 97 over the Crazy 8’s are the vents (i need ventilation, it’s pretty hot and humid in the philippines), and the traction pattern, which im assuming will grind down more evenly when used outdoors better than the 8’s.
OTT i had no luck on the TP9’s, only size 10.5 and up left in our country.. I found some really great peak shoes though, those with patent leather and the foothold 3D carbon fiber shanks that go for $80, tempting. But ill just wait for the second tp9.

just to set your expectations, the crazy8 is a tedious task to break in, but after you go through it, it’s heaven. it took me around 10days to break the shoe, and they’re quite heavy compared to the crazylight, but the support and the motion of the shoe is unparalleled.

Wow that is quite a break in period! But im excited to get on with it 🙂 as for the weight i think i can easily adapt as i use Lebrons most of the time.

maybe you might want to hold out and pick up the Adidas top 10 2010 when it rereleases. that was and is the best Feet You wear shoe ever made. this crazy 97 – I had the White Pair and the Black Pair (the White Pair I bought from The JC Penny catalog) cause I couldn’t find those anywhere. Things were SO much different then, you have to understand that back then Nike had ZOOM air in there kicks and Adidas had feet you wear and the two shoes couldnt be any more different and these just didnt cit and still dont even though NDub did give them the Nod. The Kobe crazy 8’s were / are stiff compared these joints but these have the lowest to the ground feel then all the others and for me even though they look “cool” they just sucked to hoop in. When they re-release the Top 10 2010 which Kobe and Antoine rocked are the best performers IMO and must be conseidered and I;m sure NDub will get some play time in those joints get there turn to relase again.

This is good news for me as there are some top ten 2000’s in our country’s grey market.
Btw i really want a FYW pair coz when i was a kid, my parents would allow me to buy only a pair a year (we didnt have extra money back then). I always ended up with Nike’s and Reebok Shaq’s and have been wanting FYW eversince. Here’s my chance, though this time it’s my WIFE who limits me to only a pair hahaha
