adidas ClimaChill Rocket Boost – First Impression

The latest adidas Running shoe to feature the popular Boost foam looks to keep your foot cool with the ClimaChill Rocket Boost.

For me ventilation is key when purchasing any sneaker. The ClimaChill Rocket Boost features an areocool fabric on the upper and vent located in the arch to increase airflow and breathability. If you enjoy Boost foam and supreme breathability check out my first impression of the adidas ClimaChill Rocket Boost below and stay tuned for the performance review after they have been wear tested.

The adidas ClimaChill Rocket Boost is available now at adidas.com for $140.

  1. Thanks for the info Jarron! I like that they have extra foam in the forefoot, since I’m a forefoot runner . But I’m kinda disappointed in the ventilated midfoot, I don’t like that my socks could get wet in them.

  2. I thought they were very stiff and uncomfortable to wear. The boost in this shoe felt more like a regular EVA to me and did not deflect the impact like the other boost models. The front part were very sharp and narrow shaped even more than the Adidas Feather. I felt like standing on something steep with my toes pointing in to the ground. I thought the Energy Boost 2 was more impressive though it was less breathable.

    1. I also tried the Adidas Clima Chill Ride. It was very comfortable compared to the Adidas Clima Chill Rocket Boost. Too bad it was not mainly for running, but rather a training shoe. David Beckham also was the presenter for this model.
