It is no secret that Damian Lillard of the Portland Trail Blazers has worked hard to become one of the league’s most dominant point guards. Averaging 27 points and nearly 6 assists per game last season, the future is bright for Dame — and he shows no signs of slowing down.
Portland and Lillard fans across the globe, fasten your seat belts because the Three Stripes is gearing up to release Lillard’s fourth signature shoe, the Dame 4.
The midtop silhouette features a mesh upper that sits atop a new Bounce midsole. adidas branding can be found on the heel counter, in addition to the acronym “YKWTII” — “You Know What Time It Is” — that runs down the spine of the shoes. The answer is Dame time.
However, we’ll know more about the shoe when adidas releases tech specs and story-telling information. The shoe may debut in China first, like the Crazy Explosive 2017 and D Rose 8.
On release day the Dame 4 will launch in two colorways — ‘Rip City’ (white/black/red) and ‘Un-Dyed’ (white/white/gum). The shoe will hit retail on October 6 at select adidas retailers like Eastbay. Keep your eyes open and you’ll spot Lillard rocking multiple variations of the shoe this NBA season.

These look like they going to be a flexible midsole.
Off shoe-topic: Dame is not underrated.. he just plays in the West. You put him in the East and with his stat he might even be a MVP contender. For sure he be an All-Star and Player of the month multiple times. But if you put Mike Conley or Eric Bledsoe even Lonzo Ball it may be the same. Dame needs to get off this Gilbert Arenas attitude and keep playing. I know he is very humble and not a loud mouth like others but I just hope he stays that way. I’ve always put him on the list of humble attitude players like Kawhi, Butler, Derozan and Conley.
I’ve gotten all the Lillards because they all are good on court performers (minimal heel slip on the 1’s was the only problem) so hope these continue to improve the line. The 2’s were my favorite shoe of the season they dropped, and the 3’s are even better, so I’ll most likely be grabbing a pair of these.
