The legendary streetball brand AND1 has brought back the Tai Chi for 2018 in the OG white/red colorway.
While not a 1-to-1 recreation, the shoe still looks and feels solid.
There are a few areas that could use some improvement in order to make them look more like the original. The toe wrap is a bit thick, the lining is red instead of white and the fit is a bit on the roomy side. But with those things aside, it’s great to see the Tai Chi back again.
Premium leathers and nubuck were used along with the chrome shank plate and reflective basketball. EVA foam is used for the midsole while the strobel and insole offer additional cushioning.

These shoes are sick. I just love the tai chis full stop. I have a pair of Tai Chi mixtape editions which aren’t for everyone bit they’re just awesome and have historic meaning. Well done And1.
