A nice addition to Jordan Brand’s Black History Month collection.
With Black History Month just around the corner, Jordan Brand is making sure some of its silhouettes have the proper colorway for the occasion. First, it was the Air Jordan 1 Retro ‘Equality’ and now, it’s the Air Jordan 2’s turn.
This particular build features an all-black leather upper with the heel counter sporting blue, gold and red in very interesting patterns for some serious pop. Additionally, on the heel of the left sneaker, the letters ‘BHM’ (a reference to Black History Month) have replaced the Nike branding.
Much like the Air Jordan 1, the Air Jordan 2 has pretty solid traction, especially considering that it has been more than 30 years since the shoe first released. For cushioning, there is a full-length Air unit so comfort should be better than the Air Jordan 1.

The Air Jordan 2 Retro ‘BHM’ is set to drop on January 18. They should be available at Foot Locker on release date.
