Photos have hit the Internets of a LeBron Soldier 12 that dons the same colorway as the original LeBron Soldier 1.
That original LeBron Soldier 1, which Nike is re-releasing on May 31 as part of its Art of a Champion collection, appears to be the inspiration for this upcoming LeBron Soldier 12.
What is most interesting about this Soldier 12 is that is shows how the Soldier line has aged; on its twelfth iteration the sneaker is still heavily strapped up and now features a distinct forefoot and heel, like the original.
While the LeBron Soldier 12 pictured here flaunts new speckling not used on the original Soldier 1, it retains the original’s LJ23 branding.
According to leaker @street8oy, the LeBron Soldier 12 utilizes a 10mm thick forefoot Zoom unit and a 13mm heel Zoom unit. We’ll wait on the team at FastPass to do a proper deconstruction, but the Soldier XI deconstruction shows a forefoot Zoom unit that is 8mm thick and a heel Zoom unit that is 14mm thick.

Interesting how they gave the box a military theme.
The original logo is “LBJ23” — the 3 is also a B 🙂
