Fast don’t lie…

I know that’s adidas’ old campaign but it still applies… at least in my eyes.

Traction looks great but started out a bit sloppy. The rubber and pattern was perfect front to back – design wise… this was the intention. Laterally they fell slightly… at least until they were fully broken in. Once that was complete these have been utterly fantastic.

Before you ask… the CP3.VI still has the ‘best’ traction I’ve used but these still rank high on the list.

Cushion is very similar to the adiZero Rose 2.5. The 3 has a bit more bounce in the heel not nothing like either of the Crazy Light models. Personally, I love it and its consistent which is a huge plus for me.

If you’re quick, low to the ground and explosive on the offensive end of the floor… lace up a pair and thank me later.

  1. nightwing, which one is lower to the ground and have better court feel compare to the cp3.vi…?and great job doing all this kinds of review…like your review so much…thanks…!!

  2. I can’t wait for the full review on these! I had the 1.5 and thought they were awesome but they’re getting worn down and I’m looking to buy another pair of Roses! On another note, will you be doing a performance review on the Hyperfuse 2012? Im curious if they perform/feel differently from previous models.

  3. I know this is TOTALLY off the subject, but I didn’t know where else to ask you Nightwing2303 to where you would most likely see it…..

Between the Huarache 2k4 and Kobe V and Kobe VI, which would you prefer? I thought the Kobe V was my favorite, but after playing the 2k4 (recent retro and the original that I picked from eBay from 2004), I’m finding that I love the 2k4 more, and actually sold one of my Kobe V’s to buy the 2k4 retro. The reason I ask is because the V and VI are basically low cut 2k4’s with better support (especially the outrigger), but the cushioning is better in the 2k4 (with the thicker Phylon midsole) imo and the BIGGEST difference that I like is the carbon fiber spring plate (believe it or not, it does make me feel quicker in the 2k4 than the Kobe V).

I just think the 2k4 is more fun to play in…

Sorry for the long questions and totally off subject question….

    1. btw…I’ve never played in the Kobe VI, but I skipped them since they have the same cushioning set up as the Kobe V….

  4. What will these be rankedon the kicks on court 10 out of 12 cause I’m really excited bout these but don’t know if they really for me.

  5. so hyped for the review! Can’t wait!

Is it just me, or does the black synthetic around the toe box look kind of wrinkly?

  6. Thanks again NightWing2303! Definitely true about that traction being bad at first cause when you try to walk on it with tiles….. you hear that weird sticky sound like the outsole of the shoe is covered with glue but still…. it maybe the best traction that Adidas has made so far!

  7. My shoe size in a Nike sneaker is a 12.0. I have the Drose 2.5s in a 12.0 too, but they are a little long. Should I order the Drose 3s in a 12.0 or an 11.5?

    1. thats my problem too. i have a reose 2 and got it at 10.5 and it feels long. i tried the 2.5 at 10.5 it feels wide and long. the sz10’s on the 2.5 feels like how my nike’s feel on 10.5. i am a 10.5 on nike’s and jordans too.
