Next year ANTA will release Klay Thompson’s first signature sneaker dubbed the KT 1.0. We’ve seen a few different ANTA models that were thought to have been Thompson’s signature sneaker, but it turned out that they were just PE versions.
By the looks of the images, Klay looks like he is enjoying his kicks. I tend to smell my sneakers when I first get them in, and it looks as if Klay does the same thing. The shoes feature ANTA’s new CONTROL-5WD system which is the anatomical outsole that looks similar to what we’ve seen on Under Armour’s SpeedForm models.
Not much else is known, but once more details surface we’ll be sure to post an update. In the meantime, feel free to share your thoughts in the comment section below.
I sure hope the perform… and I hope the release color is closer to the GSW uniform. These colors look closer to Nuggets.

Thanks for being one of the few places that didn’t try to guess what Klay was thinking based on one picture. Unlike all the other sites reporting that Klay “looked disappointed”.
Those sites take click bait to another level. Brainwashing consumers to only see jumpmen and swooshes.
+1 if those anta’ had a Jumpman on it, it would be hype city.
They also support knock offs as long as a high end company does the ripping off.

Yes….I agree! Thank you for presenting with an unbiased take! Klay’s father has a radio show down here in Southern Cali and he expressed how proud and happy Klay was in signing with Anta, even during the early hiccups after the signing when he was wearing blacked out HyperDunks. As we saw during the playoffs it looked like all the kinks were worked out and Klay’s PE’s were playable! I do hope that Anta finds distribution and allows us to buy stateside! NM, I do appreciate that you test all brands unbiased and allow us to decide! My closet is full of Peak and Li Ning Wow due to you. Can’t always let the Swoosh have its way!

From what I’ve seen, these ARE NOT the KT1. They are a different shoe then the first one he was pictured with (same tooling, different upper), but both are just Anta branded shoes with a Warriors logo.
Anta uses the players when they are in China to market a bunch of different shoes. Unfortunately the info never usually makes it to the US, or people are mislead. None of Anta’s new sigs have been shown off yet. Rondo also was pictured with a team shoe with this tooling when in China.
