When word spread that Russell Westbrook would get a ‘signature’ Jordan shoe, everyone quickly jumped to the performance signature side of things and wondered who would wear the annual flagship Jordan model once the shoe was released.
Luckily for Jordan Brand, Westbrook’s signature shoe isn’t an on-court model at all. Instead, his shoe will be a lifestyle model that caters towards his love for fashion. Maybe you can consider Westbrook Jordan Brand’s version of Kanye? The shoes will feature premium materials on a vulcanized sole. No release date in known at this time, but the line is supposed to release this Summer. Retail price is said to be $175.
Let us know what you think, I’m sure there will be many that won’t be happy with the price. But price aside, what do you think of the shoe from an aesthetic standpoint?
They sort of look like the new Yeezys. They look pretty good, and att that price point the materials have to be premium. I am a little disappointed because I was looking forward a Westbrook on court signature.
i hope he will eventually get an on-court model
I would’ve preferred an on-court signature model for Westbrook as oppose to a lifestyle model. It would be pretty popular and give him something with his own name on it to wear on the court instead of XX9 PE’s
The way you can see the lacing loops all the way down the shoe looks like XX9.
Hyperbeastin’ and peacocking like a boss Yo! Better not leave me hanging on high fives or I’ll give you the stank eye. Fashion. Its something….
Disappointing. Was hopeful for a new legit performance model. These just look like the annual overpriced (should cost $90 but instead costs $175 because they can) Jordan lifestyle shoe with Westbrook branding. They look like fancy Vans to me. They dont look bad but its an easy pass.
These can’t be the real performance Westbrooks because these release in September but MVP Russ said in an interview that the Westbrook 0 comes out in June. So there are 2
This looks exactly like a nike sb blazer high.
bu the looks of the she, Westbrook should be sponsored by VANS. When it comes down to that minimal silhouette I beleive that VANS does a nice job, they don’t skimp on materials, the blend lots of earth tones and are fkn Cheap / affordable which is what makes the relevant. Prices are getting rediculous and the aftermarket people actually survive with a store front brick and morder style.
Look like Balenciagas
