Air Max Day is coming up and the entire month of March looks like it belongs to the Air Max. Here’s a detailed look at the latest entry in the line, the Nike Air Max 270.
The Air Max 270, which features the first Air Max unit to be designed for lifestyle and not performance, bridges the gap between what Air Max started out as and what it has evolved into — much like the Air Jordan line.
Performance is at the core of the Air Max line but most consumers use the shoes for everyday casual wear. It’s comfortable, durable, and has been proven time and again. While the 270-degree Air unit isn’t new for Nike, the size of the unit is — this Air Max 270 unit stands at 32mm tall. While I wish the forefoot featured Zoom Air, the cored out Phylon is pretty comfortable as it’s designed be compressed when in motion — giving you a slight spring in your step.
The first round of colorways will feature engineered mesh builds but colorways of the Air Max 270 Flyknit will be releasing soon.
We hope you enjoy this detailed look at the Nike Air Max 270 in three colorways. You’ll be able to grab a pair beginning Friday, March 2, for $150 at Eastbay.com.
