Allen Iverson led the Bethel Bruins to state championships in both football and basketball in the early ’90s. Now, athletes at Virginia’s Bethel High School are receiving Answer IV PEs that pay homage to Iverson’s time at the school.
These PEs were designed by Xavier Jones, the Reebok designer in charge of bringing back Allen Iverson’s I3 legacy line. Initially, the concept for these Answer IV PEs was to have the left shoe honor Iverson’s football legacy and the right shoe honor his basketball legacy.
While that idea didn’t come to fruition, two pairs were created using the Bethel Bruins colors. Both PEs flaunt marbled outsoles, decorative Virginia embroidery, and Iverson’s high school jersey numbers (3 and 10).
Additionally, the shoe’s insoles feature sketches Iverson drew while in high school (they have only been slightly modified to incorporate the Vector logo). Behind the tongues lie stitched-in banners for the two state championships Iverson won with the Bethel Bruins. In 2003, Bethel High School actually retired Iverson’s basketball jersey.
These Answer IV PEs will not hit retail, but pairs have been allocated to athletes on Bethel High School’s current squad so…stay posted to eBay? The Bethel tribute also included two pairs of the Reebok Z Pump Rise.

These are friggin’ GORGEOUS! They should look fantastic on court If this is the direction that Reebok is going in, then let’s go! Fast forward!
These look amazing and it’s good to know reebok can still make an enticing looking product, but I bet you they still play like having rocks for cushion.
Great look, really capturing Iverson in the details. I wish Reebok released retros more regularly.
