The All-Star celebrations are in full swing down New Orleans and Reebok has shown out this year. Yesterday, Sneaker Politics hosted Curren$y and Reebok Classic to release the latest collaboration on a classic silhouette: the Jet Life Club C 85.
Spitta has carried New Orleans raps since the early 2000s — through all of his developments. He began with No Limit, then it was Young Money, and now Curren$y is flourishing as an independent artist who is known to love sneakers and vintage automobiles.
Last night, Spitta rolled into Sneaker Politics in his usual laid back style, surrounded by family, friends, and fans. He signed the iridescent green shoe boxes, custom basketballs, and kicks — and then, as his nickname suggests, hopped on stage and spit (he’s great live).
According to the Vector brand, the Reebok Classic x Jet Life Club C 85 is inspired by Curren$y’s legacy, both in and out of the studio. The shoe flaunts unique design elements special to the artist, including the “Jet Life” branding at he heel and “Andretti OG” logo on the insole. The premium hairy green suede upper is complimented by a hidden stash pocket behind the tongue (solidifying the theme) and sits atop a gum bottom.
The Jet Life Club C 85 is now available at the Sneaker Politics store, powered by Reebok Classic and Mitchell & Ness, at 216 Chartres Street, New Orleans. The shoe could also be bought on SneakerPolitics.com for $100 in Men’s and Kids sizing but it has sold out. The Club C will see a wider release in mid-March on Reebok.com and additional retailers.
Are you feeling Spitta’s latest collab? Will you try to pick up the Jet Life Club C 85 in NOLA or grab them on eBay? I’m pretty pissed I missed out on these. Let us know in the comments.

I like that dude and kicks look fresh too – just if they had some boost 🙂
Green may actually be my least favorite color, but these are heat!
Agree with you 100%
