Another Look at the Nike KD Trey5 V

The next in the Nike KD Trey5 line gets another look in two colorways.

The Nike KD10s lateral containment has been compromised due to the cool looking lacing system and overly stretchy tongue/bootie, and it looks like the Trey5 V will share the design feature.

Hopefully, the KD Trey5 V offers a bit more containment with the materials used in conjunction with this similar setup. However, the materials look to be a bit more restrictive than the KD10 so there may end up being no issues with these at all.

We can see the outsole also shares a KD10 design element with the forefoot flex groove, but these will not feature full-length Max Zoom Air. Instead they’ll offer a forefoot Zoom Air unit embedded within the midsole tooling.

Official release dates and pricing information are currently unavailable at the moment but we’ll be sure to update you once we find out.

  1. I don’t get the desire to use that MEGA-FlyWire over, and over, it looks awful, it’s not functional, it shouldn’t be on shoes.

  2. Looks good for a budget shoe, looks like it will share some performance level with the zoom live, I dont get why nike insists in usin straight lines as tractio tho
