Carmelo Anthony has always had great Air Jordan PEs as an endorser of Jordan Brand. Now, it appears that one of his PEs from his rookie year, 2003, is coming back soon.
According to soleheatonfeet, a fairly reliable leaker, Carmelo Anthony’s colorway from his debut ’03-’04 season should be hitting retail in spring of next year. It features a predominantly white leather upper with University Blue hits on the heel and midsole to offset the white. Also, the Nike and Air Jordan branding pop in Varsity Maize to complete the Denver Nuggets-esque look.
Performance-wise, if everything stays the same as previous AJII Retro models (and the brands don’t mess with the tech), there should be full-length encapsulated Air for cushioning and great traction despite it’s antiquated look.

The presumed Air Jordan 2 Retro ‘Carmelo’ is set to release in May of 2018 for $190. Nothing official has been announced yet and photos of that release haven’t surfaced yet.
