In July, WearTesters reported that the Air Jordan 18 ‘Black Sport Royal’ release date was set for October 25. Like almost every release date this year, things have changed.
The Air Jordan 18 ‘Black Sport Royal’ will retro for the first time since its original release on October 11, 2018, according to leaker US11. It will retail for $225 and release in limited numbers.
Designed by Tate Kuerbis (the designer of the Air Jordan 33) and first released in 2003, several Air Jordan 18s — including a ‘Toro’ build that celebrated Michael Jordan’s last game — have already dropped this year to celebrate the shoe’s fifteenth anniversary.
This year’s Air Jordan 18 Retros have featured all of the shoe’s original tech: a full-length Zoom Air setup that includes an additional double-stacked heel Zoom unit. You can take a look inside the shoe by checking out the Air Jordan 18 deconstructed.
While the shoe has not yet hit most Stateside release calendars, expect a drop via Nike SNKRS and Shoe Palace.
