If you love when sneakers have asymmetrical details — and you love Boost cushioning — adidas’ Consortium division has cooked up something unique: the Ultra Boost MidProto.
A new build of the adidas Ultra Boost Mid, the MidProto embraces oddity and uses a bold color palette to show off its asymmetrical details. Both shoes flaunt a striking Neon Yellow Primeknit upper with premium suede overlays and contrasting details in Collegiate Navy.
The latest sock shoe from the three stripes brand features an extra-thick collar and the signature TPU heel stabilizer unit from the original Ultra Boost 1.0. You’ll notice that the minimalist lacing system is secured by different colored eyestays on each shoe, and the adidas Consortium tongue patches are also mismatched. The three stripes branding on each shoe is also mismatched.
The adidas Ultra Boost MidProto will release on May 26 at select retailers for $220.
