The adidas Yung 1 has been sneaker Instagram’s darling for the past couple months — it’s perfectly on-trend with its bulky tooling and old school overlays. Although that shoe hasn’t seen a wide release yet, adidas has another bulky sneaker coming: the Yung Chasm.
adidas has capitalized on the dad shoe-bulky sneaker trend by bringing back some of its classic runners from the ’90s like the Temper Run and Falcon W. Now, leaks have revealed yet another three stripes branded bulky trainer.
The adidas Yung Chasm will be priced at $100 — beneath the sought-after Yung-1 — according to leaker @py_rates. It rides atop the same tooling as the Yung-1, and shares stylistic similarities, but opts for far fewer overlays. Instead, the shoe features a more minimalist mesh build that isn’t as bold.
Rumors have it that the adidas Yung-1 will see a wide release in June, so expect the Yung Chasm to arrive soon.
