Take a look at the video ad highlighting the upcoming Playoff atmosphere with the revamped LeBron 9 Elite, Kobe VII Elite & Hyperdunk 2011 Elite as they all feature Kevlar, Flywire, Carbon Fiber with a touch of Gold.

Anyone plan on picking either pair up to hoop in?

  1. Getting the black lebron elites
It isn’t really gold is it? I’d think it would be to expensive for a shoe

    1. No, the HD and Kobe are the same shoe with carbon fiber and kevlar flywire strands used so no real performance differences between them. LeBrons were redesigned so they had to be reviewed.

  2. Read the article on solecollector about Petrie and Leo Chang developing the Elite Collection. They were given green light or no budget constraints on it.
Initially they went all out in design (Elites have retail higher) and drove manufacturers crazy. So, good thing to know they tried hard reduced the cost at least. To what extent I’ll leave to your guy’s view. It was LeBron’s idea to have shoe upgrade like this and not to have wear essentially a different model like a PS or Soldier.

  3. had been in Hong Kong for a week, and i found out the Kobe and Lebron Elite both sell for $1700 HKD(218USD) and Hyperdunk elite for $1300(167USD).
I think their prices are more reasonable there, might be worth to get them if you have a chance to travel there.
