Paul George’s Nike PG 2.5 Has Dropped in Nearly-Triple Black
Officially unveiled in June, the Nike PG 2.5 is Paul George’s latest signature model. Now, it’s finally released in this clean Black/Pure Platinum/Anthracite colorway.
“We wanted to refresh the silhouette and keep evolving it,” said designer Tony Hardman in a statement. “Paul wanted to put the strap from the PG1 on it, and this allowed us to approach the element in a different way.”
The Nike PG 2.5 features the 11mm thick forefoot Zoom Air unit, cored-out heel for impact protection, and small TPU shank for torsional rigidity from the PG 2. You can take a look inside that shoe by checking out the Nike PG 2 deconstructed.
“Instead of incorporating Flywire as we did on the original, we conceived a new strap for the PG 2.5 built from a new webbing,” said Hardman in a statement.
Paul George unveiled the Nike PG 2.5 at a Fortnite tournament at E3 in June. The shoe combines both the PG 1 and PG 2 and is built for summer hoops.
The Nike PG 2.5 is available now at FootLocker.com for $110 in sizes 7.5 to 18.
