Last year’s sleeper budget hit came from Nike basketball – of all brands – and they were dubbed the Nike Prime Hype DF.
They even placed at the 10th spot on our annual Top 10 list (for 2014) so when we heard there would be a Prime Hype DF II we were pretty excited. These will feature the same features as the original, but packaged a bit differently. The Prime Hype DF II will feature Fuse uppers and Dual Fusion cushion, but the heel’s collar design is pretty unique.
If you look closely, the collar is separate from the upper in the form of an inner boot. Meaning the shoe is a low top with a high top collar – taking on the Kobe’s current proprioception concept.
I think these will be another sleeper hit that wont hurt the budget too badly. The Prime Hype DF II hasn’t yet landed at US retailers, but they’re currently available overseas at ATAF for 74 Euros… approximately $85 US. 
That separated ankle piece reminds me of the Hyperfuse 2013

What foam system could you use the describe dual fusion? Like is it comparable to boost, lunar, mirco g, bounce, charge…
Dual fusion features 2 different densities of foam, one is soft, one is firmer for more stability. To answer your question, I am not sure which it would compare to tbh.
It might be similar to Peaks TP series in terms of cushioning.
Most comparable cushion to duel fusion is lunarlon. I hate lunar on the court but I ran my pair of Prime Hype’s into the ground. The feeling is similar but duel fusion is stable, lunar is too soft for me to really enjoy playing in. Hope that helps.

Its neither. Its not a top tier cushioning like Lunarlon, Boost, MicroG or Charged but it does its job. Its basically 2 different densities of phylon. Imagine a much softer EVA from Adidas.
Excited for this. Always tempted to get the Prime Hypes but I have a lot of shoes to rotate in. I guess this wont be a sleeper hit coz we already expect this to be one due to its awesome predecessor.
