The NikeLab Zoom KD9 Elite ‘Pearl’ is Available Now

The Nike KD9 was already a performance beast on-court, but the Swoosh decided to update the silhouette with the KD9 Elite.

This latest update, the NikeLab Zoom KD9 Elite, is a lux version that may not see much time on court.

The shoe features a single-layer mesh collar (similar to the KD8 Elite) paired with grey tonal rope lacing setup for lockdown, and not much has changed. The shoe improves the fit with an updated sock-like Flyknit upper for proper containment and comfort on-court. The full-length cushioning remains unchanged, but there are hints of nicer qualities on the shoe — some synthetic nubuck at the pull tabs on the heel, plus the forward tongue that is finished off properly in this all Pearl colorway.

The shoe is currently available now at KITH and Cncpts for $150.

  1. soooo lemme get this straight, they got rid of flyknit and added regular mesh? or am I missing something?

    1. No, the flyknit is still there. Actually it isn’t backed up with something, feels even nicer. But bad news is, at least for me, fit is still the same which makes it impossible to wear if you don’t have hockey sticks instead of feet like kd himself does
