Nike Zoom HyperRev 2015

Nike plans on bringing the Zoom HyperRev back with a 2015 edition and they look far greater than the original.

Traction is super aggressive which I love and you can see the Zoom unit peeking through the heel, but we’re unsure if it’ll be full length again. The upper looks like it’ll contain the foot better as they’ve separated the tongue from the rest of the upper so you can really secure your foot. TPU or rubber is in place at the heel for lockdown and support… much better than the foam they used last time around.

  1. Have this slight feeling that the zoom isn’t full length, hope im wrong, also hope its not too far from the price of the origial. BEAST traction tho and looks like should have better containment tho I have been super snug in the orinal cause of my wide ass feet lol

  2. These really caught my eye.

HOWEVER, what bothers me is that they look NOTHING like the original one. Maybe they’ll let the Lunar Hyperquickness take over the previous silhouette.

These look like a high top, but really, that’s just soft materials around the ankle. The first HyperRev actually looks more supportive than this one.

The Zoom could be double stacked at the heel which is why we see it, and just a normal Zoom unit in the forefoot.

    Anyway, JUST MY OPINION. 🙂

    1. I’m judging the supportiveness of the materials based on looks alone. I could be totally wrong. Just by first glance, I don’t trust them… yet.

      1. The materials used here are more supportive than the originals. Support in the original relied mostly on the fit as the materials really offered minimal support.

        1. I see. That makes sense. Thanks for correcting me. 🙂

BTW, we once thought that these were the LeBron ST 4’s, right? 🙂

  3. Man Nike is doing work! Now people will have to consider the annual HyperDunk & HyperRev for premium team model picks.

    1. Yea hopefully they stop putting out all that other garbage because now they have 5-6 solid team models out or soon to release.

  4. Liking the look of these. No ankle strap is goodness. Will only try these out if they have fulll length zoom or big heel and forefoot zoom bags…

    1. These probably have full lentgh zoom because it would be stupid downgrading a 2nd version of a shoe not gonna drop any names (hyper quickness) but the whole point of coming out with another model is better performance

  5. OK. I see you Nike. See what the smaller players are forcing…I like it. Competition is good for the masses.

  6. probably going to play better but they look so much uglier lol but then again almost all of the new nike releases look ugly in the begining

  7. Nightwing, I don’t know if you noticed, but these were the alleged “LeBron ST 4’s” in the other post. 🙂

      1. Well, these are official photos, so we must be sure that they’re the 2015 Rev’s now. 🙂

  8. I have a feeling these will be solid… fit just looks great and very natural. Traction looks beastly. Nice

  9. Reminds me of the nike Prestos. I’m impressed by the aggressive design. Hope there’s a shank plate plus forefoot zoom

  10. I want them right now please!! I’m glad they improved the lacing system. These are a must buy only if they keep the same full length Zoom as the original Hyperrev.

  11. now these are much better as long as they kept the cushion as full length zoom which is also my concern. other than that, the materials used look extra comfy yet still supportive without the annoying ankle sleeve that made the previous hyperrev difficult to wear. the new look reminds me of the Dominator Pro.

traction looks like a killer as well.

    1. I wish they would use more fuse. I’m not a fan of all that mesh, but since the lacing system has hyperfuse and eyelets (unlike the originals which only have flywire and no eyelets) it should provide enough support.

  12. The upper seems to be made out of a combination of neoprene and mesh. One thing I don’t like about the upper is that the ankle cut/dip is way too low. The orange, black and white colorway is pretty solid. Hopefully the zoom unit would be full length but from what I can see is that the zoom is a 180 unit in the heel. A lot of great colorways can be implemented on the shoe which is awesome.

  13. This is what the new hyperdunk should have looked like…

the new hyperdunk should’ve been the hyperfuse… (it’s absolutely disgusting).

        1. But the hyperfuse line doesn’t use flywire that’s one reason why they shouldn’t be and another is that they already have leaked images of the new hyperfuse and the hyperfuse line wouldn’t have had that collar

  14. I’m a big fan of the OG HyperRev. I will not purchase these. I’ll be grabbing as many pairs of the OG’s I can from the Nike clearance stores before they dry up. Really enjoyed the OG’s on court and off and liked how they looked and the overall appearance and performance. The strap was also a big plus with me and the overall fit from it being all one piece was second to none.
