Nike Zoom Hypercross Sample

Here we see another leaked Nike sample, and this one looks loaded with tech.

The Nike Hypercross is seen here in all Volt with black branding. It uses fuse along with mesh and Flywire throughout the upper while what really intrigues me is the cushion set up. This sample uses the same setup as seen on the LeBron 12 sample we saw earlier this week. The cushion looks crazy and I can’t wait to see how it feels on both models.

Thoughts? Share them down below as we stay tuned for more information on these.

  1. Damn these look nice. Glad nike is putting out new products than just releasing more generic hyperfuse shoes, with the basic forefoot zoom stiff phylon midsole and fuse upper

  2. It seems a little odd to me that they would make a shoe with the same tech as the lebron flagship that will probably be cheaper. The Lebron line doesn’t usually share it’s tech, at least while the current model is in production, as it would cannibalize their own product.

  3. So what exactly are these for? Little pegs on the outsole makes it seem like they are some type of cross trainers.

  4. It looks like this outsole is kind of free inspired like the hexagon flex grooves in the new line of nike frees. They look sweet!

  5. one of the outsole pods seems to say Zoom, so maybe it’s separated zoom units, targeted to where the foot needs more cushion

    1. Good question… I want to know that as well… I think this maybe a hoop shoe because of the “Hyper” tag. But if anyone may confirm please do.. because they might be the cheaper version of the Lebron 12’s as far as the tech goes..(well, not the upper of course).

      1. Not all Hyper shoes are for hooping; Hypervenom is for soccer for example. I’m confident now that it is a cross-training shoe. HyperCROSS = cross-training lol. Think of like how the XX8 and the Super.Fly 2 are the FlightPlate models for basketball, then the Trunner Dominate is the cross-trainer FlightPlate model. I may be wrong, but my theory makes sense.

        1. Forgot to add this lol:
The Lebron 12 is the basketball version of this tooling, while the Hypercross is the training version of this tooling.

There, I think my statement above makes a bit more sense now lol

  6. fearless forecast for these: only one pod has the zoom bag while the rest are eye-candy nonsense. :p

    1. Right behind you on this one! My money’s on the pink one!

Puremotion with a quarter sized zoom airbag 🙂

  7. Given the name and look, I’d say that these are Cross-training shoes and not basketball shoes. They’re also tagged in this article as “Trainers” and not basketball shoes.
